Paco Romane

Paco Romane is an award-winning and critically acclaimed stand up comedian (voted “Best Comedian” in the San Francisco Weekly and San Francisco Bay Guardian), actor, writer, and director. He has established himself as a favorite new comedian with his energetic, self-deprecating style. In a recent interview with KQED Arts, journalist Jonathan Curiel added, “This SF comedian keeps audiences riveted and coming back for more with live shows and TV gigs”.

Paco recently appeared on Comedy Central’s “Drunk History.”
Bookers have called Romane, “a favorite because he brings energy, improv and great observations into his act!” NPR recently named Paco Romane “an up-and-coming” comedian and NBC Bay Area said, “7 years of success have kept Paco Romane at the top of the Bay Area comedy scene.” Recently he was invited to talk about sketch comedy on Michael Krasny’s Forum on NPR and was given the rare opportunity to perform live on the air. He is also a long time company member of Killing My Lobster, the Bay Area’s premier Sketch Comedy group.
For the last eight years Paco has also produced the critically acclaimed Romane Event Comedy Show. This show has garnered many great reviews: The Onion declared it "hilarious", and The SF Bay Guardian raved, “Paco Romane really knows how to deliver the laughs.” The Romane Event was recently featured in SF Sketchfest 2013.
Paco also has a big following online, where his viral videos have racked up millions of views and have garnered national spotlight and has worked with Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, W. Kamau Bell, Moshe Kasher, Marga Gomez, Eric Andre, Brendan Walsh, Kids In the Hall, Matt Braunger, Will Durst, Ali Wong, Mo Mandel, and many others. He has also performed many times in SF Sketchfest, SF Comedy Day, SF Fringe Festival and many other great festivals.
