Luke Youngblood

Luke Youngblood is a British actor who has had an extensive career working with award-winning directors such as Chris Columbus ("Harry Potter") and Julie Taymor ("The Lion King").

Having trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London, Luke went on to secure principal roles in films that include "Ladybird Ladybird" directed by Ken Loach. He is widely known for starring as the energetic Lee Jordan in the world-renowned "Harry Potter" movies, directed by Chris Columbus.

In addition to his movie career, Luke has also appeared in several theatre productions. He was cast as Nipper in the West End musical, "Oliver!," directed by the Oscar-Winning Sam Mendes and produced by Cameron Mackintosh. Luke also worked with John Crowley in "Fair Ladies at a Game of Poem Cards" at the National Theatre, before being cast as the lead in the original London cast of "The Lion King," directed by the award-winning Julie Taymor.

One of Luke's most popular roles to date was portraying Tracy's best friend, Ben, in CBBC's "The Story of Tracy Beaker," which was nominated for "Best Children's Drama" at the Children's BAFTA's four years in a row. Some of his other televison credits include roles on "Glee" and "Lie To Me."

Luke has been recurring on "Community" as the "life and soul of the party", Magnitude, coining the phrase, "POP-POP!" He was first introduced in season 2 to critical acclaim and has continued to entertain audiences with his "magnetic-attitude" ever since.

Most recently, Luke can be seen playing "Sid" the squire in ABC's "Galavant," a musical comedy created by the critically acclaimed Dan Fogelman, with oscar-winning composer Alan Menken writing the music. He is currently filming "Galavant" Season 2 which will air on ABC in 2016.
